Due to the reason that baby’s skin is sensitive and prone to allergy. Hence, the products that is safe for babies are non-irritating and hypoallergenic tested. Purebb and kids products are hypoallergenic tested, which not causing any allergic reactions to baby’s sensitive skin.
Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) is the active substance that used in most of the bath soap and other cleanser products that exist in the market. The main function of SLS is for the cleaning agent and to produce the foam in bath soap and or shampoo. SLS is known to be a skin irritant. It can strip the skin of its natural oil, which can cause dry skin, irritation, and reactions. It can also be very irritating to the eyes.
The pH of newborn skin is usually close to neutral, but quickly changes to acidic, which help to protect their delicate skin from microbes and supports that the maturing of the outer layer of skin (epidermis). Baby skin is too delicate and very easily gets eczema, dry skin, irritation and diaper rash. Therefore, babies need to have the daily care with the products that have the ideal pH for baby which is approximate pH 5.5
